May Your Season Shine

Hello from St. George, Utah, USA! Our theme for this month has been “MAY YOUR SEASON SHINE”. Of course, at my age, every season better shine because who knows how many more seasons there will be for me!! I love them all but right now the weather here is close to perfect. There is work to do outside but not too much so it is fun and exciting.

Is your life fun and exciting? Do you shine this season? Maybe we have to define what it means for a person to shine. It sure doesn’t mean being better than everyone else but it could mean to make an effort to get along with everyone else. There is so much division and concern over if we are all thinking alike. I love the diversity among us. I get excited to learn about different prospectives. I never have to agree but we can all shine in our own realm.  

What are the things you need to be experiencing to feel like you shine? There is a quote from C.S. Lewis that I love, “don’t let your happiness depend on something you may lose”. Think about that. Happiness is a choice no matter your circumstances. We all have control over how we react to life. Do we shine??  Do we have to be ashamed of our actions? We each can make a real difference in our corner of the world. Let’s all be known for kindness and compassion in all our actions and when needed even be forgiving.
